Location is central to how YellOut works. We use your location to show you nearby reports and filter content by distance. You can set your preferred location manually by searching for a suburb, or use GPS detection. Location data is stored securely and used only for app functionality — we do not sell or share your location with third parties for advertising purposes.

YellOut aggregates publicly available data from Queensland government sources, including TMR (Transport and Main Roads) traffic events and QFES (Queensland Fire and Emergency Services) emergency incidents. This data is publicly accessible and subject to the respective agencies' own terms and conditions.
YellOut is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such data has been collected, we will delete it promptly.
The YellOut mobile app uses session cookies for authentication purposes only. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking tools. Session data is stored securely on our servers.
