How do I delete my account and data?
Open YellOut, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your posts, comments, reactions, and personal data from our systems.
How do I request a copy of my personal data?
Email us at
hello@yellout.org with the subject "Data Access Request" and we'll respond within 30 days in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Why isn't an incident showing up in my feed?
Our feed relies on official government data (QFES, EMV, TMR) which can occasionally experience delays. Some incidents may also fall outside the radius of your selected suburb. Try expanding your search area in the app's filter settings.
I've seen incorrect information posted — what can I do?
Use the in-app Report button on the post and select "Incorrect information". Our team will review it. Remember that user-submitted reports are community observations and may not be verified.
Is YellOut available outside Queensland and Victoria?
Community posts are available Australia-wide. Official incident data currently covers Queensland (QFES, TMR) and Victoria (EMV). We're working on expanding to other states.
How do I advertise my business on YellOut?
Create a business account in the app or email us at
hello@yellout.org. Our self-serve ad platform lets you target by suburb and category with no minimum spend.
